LOVE WHAT YOU DO
do what you love
Being a creative director and writer who specializes in the tech industry is a challenging career in the most satisfying way. you have to train your brain to be creative on demand, strategic in its purpose, and clever in its approach — all while vigorously researching in order to grasp foreign capabilities and complicated products. I’ve worked with the smarted people at the biggest companies in the world, and take great pride knowing my visual and verbal storytelling contributed to the growing success of these powerhouse places.
But like a true textbook Gemini, I have two distinct sides to me: one being the savvy, strategic marketer and the other being the sensitive, imaginative fine artist. Nailing an award-winning ad campaign is definitely an amazing achievement. However, using my hands and vivid imagination to create tangible, meaningful pieces of art where before there was nothing but empty space—that feeling is something even as a writer, I find impossible to articulate.
Being creative on my own time is far more than just a flippant hobby. It’s constant, curious, quirky, and phenomenal mindset that I genuinely wouldn’t trade for anything. Most importantly, it is how I express my love and care for others. and as luck would turn out, it is now something I am slowly turning into a new career path as Artificial intelligence continues force its way into digital marketing.
times are changing for us as creative professionals in the corporate world, but There are several things the robot overlords will not and cannot replace. For example, The delicate craft and detail only the human hand can achieve, the powerful emotions that inspire us all, the imagination and life experiences that no algorithm can compute, the insatiable drive for perfection on one’s own terms, and a beautiful soul, yet tortured soul, which no technology will ever take from me.
